The American Methodist Pilgrimage is a week-long circuit of US sites important to the early formation of Methodism, created by the UMC's General Commission on Archives and History (GCAH) and Education Opportunities Tours (EO).

It begins on October 12 with worship at John Street UMC, America’s oldest Methodist church, followed by lunch, a tour of the church's Wesley Chapel museum, and a guided walking tour of Methodism in Lower Manhattan.

On the second and third days, circuit riders will visit the major sites of Methodism in Philadelphia, including St. George's UMC, Mother Bethel AME and Mother African Zoar UMC. They'll travel to Barratt's Chapel in Delaware on the fourth day, then Baltimore for two days of visits to sites including Lovely Lane UMC and Historic Old Otterbein UMC. The tour ends in Washington, DC, with a visit to the United Methodist Building and a tour of other key Methodist sites in DC.
