Is it tax-deductible?
Yes. We're a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is tax-deductible. If you provide your name with each donation, we will email or mail you a Statement of Giving letter annually noting your cumulative gift for the latest tax year. Consult your tax advisor for your specific situation.
Must I create an account Log In to donate online?
No. An account Log In isn't required for a one-time gift. However, it is required when scheduling recurring gifts or a gift to be paid on a future date.
What is "Vanco"?
Vanco is the company that processes our online payments. You might see their name on the email receipts for your donation.
Can I schedule a recurring or automatic payment?
Yes. Our online form offers the option to make a gift recurring.
How do I make a large or legacy gift?
Will someone match my gift?
Possibly. Ask your employer's HR or CSR department if they participate in Benevity's matching gift program.
Will my gift be handled responsibly?
Funds disbursed by our treasurer are periodically reviewed and a yearly report—available on request—is provided to our Leadership Council for use in preparing our budget, which is then approved and voted on by our church conference.
