Museum Tours

The museum is closed through September 26
We continue to schedule tours for October and later dates.

Explore the early colonial, Revolutionary, and 19th-century history of Methodism in the Wesley Chapel Museum at John Street United Methodist Church, the oldest Methodist church in America.

Self-guided tours Visitors are welcome to explore the museum independently during all opening hours.

Guided tours Rev. Stefanie Bennett offers guided tours to solo visitors, adult groups, student groups, and confirmation classes with advance notice and periodic Methodist Manhattan walking tours. Please email her to discuss your group's size and availability: she's happy to accommodate tours during both opening hours and many afternoons when the church is closed.
